The rules for using our website and Vantage.
Short and in plain words. If you are a client, your signed client agreement comes first. These terms cover everything else.

Who are we?
DigiStaff is a small Australian business based in Melbourne, Victoria (ABN 14 177 618 475). In these terms, “we” means DigiStaff and “you” means the person or business using our website or apps.
Questions about these terms go to [email protected].
What do these terms cover?
- this website, digistaff.com.au
- Vantage, the desktop app for Mac and Windows (free to download)
- Vantage Pocket, the mobile app for Android, iPhone and iPad (free to download)
- your Vantage account
By using any of them, you agree to these terms. If you are a client, your signed client agreement and its schedule come first. Where they say something different from these terms, the client agreement wins.
Your Vantage account
Each person has their own account. You can sign in with your email and a password, with a 6-digit code we email you, or with Google.
Give true details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what is done with your account, and by the people you give access to.
The first account to connect a DigiStaff box becomes its owner. Only the owner can connect another desktop. Phones join by scanning a code shown in Vantage on a connected desktop, one business per code.
We may pause an account that is being misused or that puts other people at risk, and we will tell you why.
Using Vantage
Vantage belongs to us. While your care plan is active and your fees are paid, you may use it for your own business, on the desktops and phones you connect.
Please do not copy, sell, rent or share Vantage, try to take it apart to get at its code, use it to build something that competes with it, or try to reach another business’s data.
If a licence ends, Vantage stops opening for that business. Your records stay on your box, and you can still get a copy of them.
Your data
Your business’s records belong to you. They are kept on your own box, and we use them only to provide the service and to meet our legal obligations.
What we collect, including what Google shares when you sign in with Google, is set out in our privacy policy.
Using it properly
Do not use Vantage, your digital staff or this website to:
- break any law
- send messages that break the Spam Act or the Do Not Call Register rules
- mislead anyone, including by saying a digital staff member is a person when asked directly
- use personal information you have no right to use
- infringe anyone else’s rights
- try to get into systems or data that are not yours
If your digital staff send emails, texts or calls for you, you are the sender under the law. You are responsible for having consent and checking the Do Not Call Register.
Other providers’ services
Vantage connects to tools you choose, such as your payment, accounting, email or calendar services. Their own terms apply to them, and we are not responsible for their outages or changes.
AI can get things wrong. Digital staff ask before acting on money or customers, and you should check anything important before you rely on it.
This website
The website is general information. Prices and what is included are set only in a written quote. We may change or remove pages at any time. The words, pictures and design on it are ours unless they say otherwise.
Updates and changes
Vantage updates itself to fix problems and add features. We may change these terms. When we do, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change matters to clients, we tell them first, as the client agreement says.
Consumer law and our responsibility
Nothing in these terms takes away any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other right that cannot lawfully be removed.
If you are a client, the limits in your client agreement apply. Otherwise, as far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect loss such as lost profits, and our responsibility is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
These limits do not apply to death or personal injury caused by negligence, to fraud, or to anything the law does not allow to be limited.
Stopping
You can stop using the website or apps at any time. To close your Vantage account, email [email protected]. Clients end their care plan as the client agreement says.
We may end someone’s access if they seriously break these terms. Before a business’s access ends, its owner can download a copy of its data from Vantage.
If something goes wrong
Tell us first at [email protected] and we will try to put it right. Clients follow the steps in their client agreement, including trying mediation before going to court.
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia, and its courts and tribunals deal with any dispute.
