Privacy policy
DigiStaff operates digistaff.com.au and handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
We gather only information you provide voluntarily, plus standard technical data:
- Call bookings: your name, email address, business name, a short description of what is taking up your time, optionally your website, along with the time slot you choose and the timezone your browser reports.
- Message form: if no listed time suits, your name, email address, optionally your business name, and your message.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and analytics data collected via cookies and advertising pixels.
How we use your information
- Arranging, confirming and reminding you about booked calls
- Preparing for your consultation and responding to enquiries
- Service delivery and improvement
- Measuring advertising effectiveness, so we show fewer irrelevant ads
We do not sell your personal information. We do not send marketing email you have not asked for.
Bookings
Consultation bookings are taken and stored directly by DigiStaff on our own hosting. When you book, we send you a confirmation email containing the time in your own timezone and a calendar attachment, and we send ourselves a notification so we know to expect you. Every confirmation email includes a link that lets you cancel or rearrange without creating an account. Cancelling releases the time immediately for someone else.
Advertising and cookies
The Meta Pixel records visits and enquiries that come from our ads, and shares technical data with Meta under its own privacy policy. You can adjust your Facebook ad preferences, or disable cookies in your browser settings — the site continues to work either way.
Service providers
We use a small number of third parties, each operating under its own privacy policy:
- Australian web hosting
- Resend, for sending confirmation and notification email
- Meta Platforms, for advertising measurement
- Microsoft, for our business email
Storage and security
Enquiry and booking data is held on secured Australian servers, transmitted over encrypted connections, with access restricted to those who need it.
Retention
We keep your data while we are handling your enquiry and for the period we are required to keep business records, after which it is deleted.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us through the form on our homepage. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy matter, you can make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
Any updates to this policy will appear on this page, with a revised date at the top.
